Students International Master of Architecture @ design workshop on Borders and Territories Bordeaux with Caroline Sohie

How can mapping of spaces transition from inventory to interpretation? How can notions such as feeling, atmosphere, identity be captured as layers of meaning, contributing to the conceptualisation of space?

In cooperation with TU Delft our International Architecture Masters Studio KUL Brussels, undertook a design workshop in Bordeaux focused on mapping the in-between spaces of hybrid landscapes emerging between the historic city and the expanding local airport.

It was a great pleasure to set up camp in the utopian settings of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture et de Paysage de Bordeaux ( ENSAPBx ) and mentor with Oscar Rommens and Guillaume Guerrier of Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment TU Delft and Créasud, l’Ecole de Condé Bordeaux Art and Design, the students in their ‘borders and territories’ explorations.
