Seminar / Forms of Adaptations within Urban Markets in Emerging Cities

The Research Seminar is set up to explore forms of adaptations within urban markets in emerging cities around the world. It is organised by the Research Group “Urban Projects, Collective Spaces & Local Identities”. It will feature ongoing research projects, PhD projects and international architecture studio projects with focus on the role of marketplaces in the 21st century city. The seminar ends with a debate with international guests on this topic and the opening of an exhibition on Merkato, Addis Abeba, in Ethiopia (Streetscape Territories).
